The Eurotunnel facilitates the travel of approximately 10 million passengers annually between the UK and France, operating over 400 trains each day.

In our Eurotunnel store, you’ll offer a curated selection of high-profile beauty brands, including Lancôme, Clinique, and Molton Brown. Alongside these, you’ll promote designer fragrances from Chanel and Bvlgari, and showcase luxury jewellery and watches from renowned names like Swarovski, Pandora, and Hugo Boss. Additionally, you’ll provide a diverse range of whiskies, champagnes, fine wines, and spirits, ensuring a premium shopping experience for travellers.

Arriving for your Interview

Important Information

Interviews take place at Holiday Inn Express, Cheriton Park, Folkestone. The hotel is adjacent to the Eurotunnel Channel Tunnel terminal.

Bus or Train

The nearest bus stop is Tesco at Cheriton, a 10 minute walk away from the hotel.

Driving

Parking is available at the hotel. Your cost of travel and parking is not reimbursed.

Your Interview

On arrival at the hotel, head to Reception and you’ll be met by a member of the World Duty Free team.

Things to bring with you

Please remember to bring along your Right to Work Documents! Your Passport, NI Number & Proof of Address, plus Share code if necessary.

How long should you expect your interview to take?

Expect to be with us for between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the role you are applying for and the assessment activities. We’ll brief you before your interview and answer your questions so you know what to expect on the day.

Things to know about working at Folkestone

You’ll need to be security cleared before you can start work. This can take 6-12 weeks from when you’re offered a role. We manage this process for you and will have checked your basic details prior to interview, so the chances are this will all go smoothly.

You’ll need to pass through Security each time you arrive for work (it’s just like going on holiday!) – this can take around 30 minutes. You need to incorporate getting through Security into your travel time.
