All permanent WDF employees are eligible for one of the Company’s bonus schemes subject to the
scheme rules. Currently, we operate an annual bonus scheme as well as a monthly team incentive scheme.

WDF provides support to our teams through an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This service provides confidential advice on a range of issues, including family matters, relationships, financial worries, legal matters, bereavement, stress and housing issues. The service is free of charge and is available for you and your immediate family. If you wish to use the facility there is a website and a Freephone helpline which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The staff purchase scheme allows you and up to 10 of your friends or family to buy a wide range of products at substantial discount. We also operate a Savings Scheme which gives you the opportunity to save throughout the year for Christmas purchases on Emporium.

If you are a VDU (Visual Display User) you can claim back the cost of eye tests through expenses. If you need to wear glasses or lenses solely to correct vision for using a VDU the company will pay £75 towards your costs. You will need a letter from your optician to confirm this. For clarity on what roles are classed as VDU users please see your Line Manager or HR Team.

A number of locations have discounted public transport travel for those with Airport ID Passes.

This scheme is a tax effective way of donating to charities of your choice. You can choose how much you would like to donate and each month and WDF will also contribute an additional 10% of your chosen amount each month.

Your annual leave or holiday entitlement will depend on your shift pattern and grade and will increase after 3 years and 5 years’ service with the business.

Life assurance cover provides your dependants with a lump sum benefit in the event of your death whilst employed by WDF.

Long service awards are one way we use to thank you for your loyalty. We recognise those individuals who have achieved 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service.

Red by Dufry is a loyalty scheme you can use when travelling. You can get great discounts and collect points when shopping in our stores and with other travel partners.

Medicash is a health cash plan that allows you to claim back the cost of treatments such as dental appointments, opticians and chiropractors.

It also has additional features such as a wellbeing tool, digital physiotherapy, skin vision, virtual GP, gym and retail discounts.

As a WDF employee, you are eligible for O2 Open, this scheme offers up to 25% off an airtime plan when you buy a new phone or tablet from O2.

Car parking whilst at work is provided at most of our UK locations. Arrangements vary from location to location.

You will be eligible to participate in the WDF Group Personal Pension Plan (“GPPP”) when you join the business. This is operated in line with the Governments auto-enrolment guidelines although you can choose to increase your contributions, opt in if you aren’t eligible or opt out if you do not want to contribute to this pension scheme.

If you recommend someone for a vacancy and they are placed successfully and complete the required qualifying period then we will reward you with Emporium vouchers.

This scheme allows tax savings on the purchase of a bike and associated equipment.

WDF offer a facility for individuals who purchase season tickets to do this via a season ticket loan which is then paid back over 10 months via a deduction from your salary.

Staff shopping is available at most locations, giving you the opportunity to enjoy discounts, usually tax free prices, at various retail outlets.

WDF operates two staff shops located in Runnymede CDC and Manchester Airport which sell goods at discounted rates. Throughout the year event sales are run within our locations which are open to employees, airport staff and often to the public as well.

From time to time we may authorise for a tester sale to take place within a location. This means that part used fragrance testers can be sold to staff at a discounted rate with the funds raised going to charity.
