New store opens at London Southend airport
The brand new World Duty Free store in London Southend Airport successfully opened at 5am on Saturday 26th November 2016. John Miles, Store Manager, was there to mark the occasion by presenting a gift to the first passenger who was departing on the early flight to Faro.
40 miles from the centre of London, Southend Airport is one of the fastest growing international airports in Europe and is forecast to handle more than 2 million passengers a year by 2020. It is renowned for its great train service in and from central London with up to 8 trains every hour.
