London Southend Airport is an international airport located at Southend-on-Sea, Essex, 40 miles east of Central London. It is one of the fastest growing international airports in Europe and is forecast to handle more than 2 million passengers a year by 2020.

Southend airport is renowned for its great train service in and from central London with up to 8 trains every hour. Trains from London Liverpool Street Station take 53 minutes and from Stratford Station takes 44 minutes.

Both Flybe and easyJet currently provide flights from the airport to locations throughout Europe.  Thanks to its excellent location and high customer satisfaction scores, the airport is in discussions with more than 10 other airlines about establishing flights from Southend airport.

World duty free will be opening a brand new store at London Southend airport in the autumn of 2016 and we are currently recruiting for team members for this store.   You will be promoting premium beauty brands such as Lancôme, Bobbi Brown, Clarins, Clinique, Bare Minerals and Molton Brown, as well as a wide range of designer fragrances. You’ll also be selling luxury watch and jewellery ranges from Michael Kors, Ray-Ban, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Citizen and Pandora, alongside a wide range of whiskies, champagnes, fine wines and spirits.

We will also be opening a "Glorious Britain" store promoting authentic British gifts and souvenirs.

London Southend has been voted the best airport in Britain for three consecutive years by consumer group Which? and we will be looking for team members who share the aspiration at all times to deliver World Class Customer Service.
