Located 14 miles west of Central London, Heathrow Airport is the largest and busiest airport in the UK, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and third busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. In 2014, it handled a record 73.4 million passengers.

With 5 terminals, Heathrow offers a wide range of job opportunities for those who want to pursue their retail career airside. Depending on the terminal in which you are based you could be promoting luxury end products within our specialist stores such as World of Whiskies, or selling across an extremely diverse product range including all the established prestige brand names through to those new to the market, and exclusively sold at Heathrow.
We have a range of jobs at our stores at Heathrow Airport for talented staff including Store Managers, Team Leaders, Mystery Shoppers, Customer Service Assistants and day and night replenishment assistants.
We asked Andy, our store manager at Terminal 3, to give you his views of World Duty Free Heathrow:
"The shear magnitude of pace at Terminal 3, London Heathrow Airport can't be described, only experienced! On some days, we have up to 25,000 passengers walking through our stores and the opportunity to maximise sales is limited only by your imagination. Terminal 3 is the second largest turnover terminal at Heathrow but the only true walk-through store concept. We have a further 8 stores located throughout the terminal thus creating literally thousands of opportunities to make a sale every day.
We cater for every kind of passenger - our main store offers all product categories and we also have beautiful specialist stores that provide a totally different exclusive offering. We are proud of our Whisky specialist store, World of Whiskies, with almost 500 lines of Whisky available, and our Sunglass Boutique store with 1,600 sunglasses on show. We also have Jo Malone and MAC boutique stores plus two very popular Glorious Britain souvenir stores, which provide the last opportunity for our international passengers to take home some UK memorabilia.
The team at Terminal 3 are totally committed to delivering the best experience for our customers whilst having some fun at the same time! There is always something exciting happening in the terminal with in-store activity and promotions themed around key dates and celebrations such as Christmas, Diwali, Easter and St Patrick's Day."
For 2016 we have launched a bespoke Apprenticeship programme for trainee leaders at Heathrow.
