Aberdeen airport

Aberdeen is an international airport, located at Dyce, a suburb of Aberdeen, just under 6 miles northwest of the city centre.  The airport is heavily reliant on the oil industry and boasts the largest heliport in Europe, which serves the rigs in the North Sea.

Passengers at Aberdeen airport are predominantly business men and women, with the oil industry accounting for the vast majority of travel.  Aberdeen Airport supports direct routes to 17 different countries and you can fly just about anywhere in the world thanks to routes through Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Heathrow. The airport is currently undergoing a £20 million transformation, and as part of this World Duty Free will have a brand new store due to open late 2017/early 2018.

Being very close to Speyside, and the huge number of distilleries in the area, means that we stock a large range of malt whiskies within our World of Whiskies outlet. With over 200 whiskies in stock at any time we have a requirement for retail staff who wish to specialise and develop an in-depth knowledge of this very Scottish of spirits, and with prices ranging from £30 to £10,000, there's something for everyone! Scottish products are very popular with our visitors who want to take a piece of Scotland home and we like to leave our passengers with a lasting memory of our store, it's products and most importantly it's people.
